We are back to my step-mother. She received the following e-mail after applying to a job on indeed.com and asked me to check it out. What I found after reviewing the information attached is you have to sign an an agreement to allow them to automatically pull a bank draft against your checking account or paypal account for $10 a month. I have two thoughts on this:
1. You should never pay to work, you should be paid to work.
2. If there is a $10 a month service fees for them hooking you up with jobs, why not take the $10 out of your paychecks why do you have to authorize them to take money out of your account.
For these reason I am not going any further. I told her not to trust the company and bail while she could. Something about the e-mail and the attached have lit my instincts and they are saying run the other way.

Express Paid Surveys - Get Paid for you Opinion?
A friend of mine at work asked me if I would look into Express Paid Surveys and do a review. He was interesting in investing the $34 but wanted my approval before going forward.
Unfortunately, the bad new is that Express Paid Surveys is just another "Paid Survey Database".
Please don't waste your money with ANY "get paid to fill out surveys" opportunities. You should never have to pay anything to participate in any kind of survey. Whether it be for access to the survey database or for the survey itself.
There are several places online where you can access all the surveys you could ever want to take for free. The problem with these databases is you sign up for the survey sites they recommend. Then you start receiving e-mails. I actually receive about 75 survey e-mail a day. The problem is that I am lucky if I qualify for the survey and if you don't qualify for the survey your don't get paid.
So, I paid $34 for a list of sites to join. My inbox is now full everyday and it takes me about an hour to get through all the messages and I never get paid because I do not fit their demographic criteria.
I have posted a number of times about Survey sites that are free to join and you will get paid if you qualify. But I do not make a living filling our surveys online. Extra money yes, a living now?

New EMail Scam Alter
Source: http://www.consumeraffairs.com/news04/2009/10/fdic_scam.html
Scam Characteristics: The FDIC is an independent government organization that helps maintain stability in the banking system by regulating thousands of banks around the nation. They also aid consumer confidence by insuring deposits made at FDIC-backed banks and proving access to funds in case a bank fails.
Recent activity suggests that criminals are taking advantage of tough economic times and preying on individuals who have their money with an FDIC-insured institution. Thieves are sending emails with one of the follow subject lines:
•"Check Your Bank Deposit Insurance Coverage"
•"You Need to Check your Bank Deposit Insurance Coverage"
The message tells recipients that they are receiving this email because they have an FDIC-insured bank account and the FDIC has officially named their bank as a failed bank, and is taking control of its assets. The email also contains a link to a fraudulent website where recipients can review their Deposit Insurance Coverage by downloading a "Personal FDIC Insurance File."
Anyone that clicks this link is really downloading a virus designed to collect personal or confidential information, some of which may be used to gain unauthorized access to online banking services or aid in identity theft.
Steps you can take to help avoid becoming a victim of this scam:
•The FDIC does not issue unsolicited emails to consumers. If you receive a suspicious email from the FDIC, delete it.
• Never click on links if you are unsure of who sent it.
•Do not follow links from email or enter personal or confidential information- always access important websites directly by typing the website address in your address bar.
•Never download a file contained in an email from an unknown address- especially if the file name ends in ".exe".
