Process Rebates at Home, Earn Money

It sounds like a great deal doesn't it, you can process rebates at home and earn $15.00 for each one that you complete. I thought it sounded good. I searched the Internet, I didn't see anything negative and I invested (this was about 3 years ago, but I am still receiving e-mails regarding rebate processing, so I thought I would go over it again). That is when I found out what rebate processing really means. Rebate processing is Affiliate work.

Companies like virtual-training-solutions.com, RebateProcessorJobs.com and rebateproccessingjob.com, are not hiring you to work for them and then paying you by the piece. Which is what I though when I first read their websites (by the way all three companies owned by the same person).

Let me save you the $39 - $89 it takes to join these programs.

Sign up for a Clickbank account, find a product that you want to sell. Place an ad to sell the product and in that ad, state that you will give them a rebate of $8.00 just for purchasing the product. Now you will receive $23.00 for selling the product, you return $8.00 to the original purchaser and you keep $15. You just received $15.00 for processing a rebate!

There do you feel that information is worth $39? I don’t, I felt and still feel that I was mislead and scammed. Can the system work, yeah it is a good idea, I understand where they were trying to go with it. But the they should have described it just as I described it to you and not lied to me, I would have felt better about the whole thing.

Their members web site is pretty good, it will give you a list of site to post free ads to sell your item and sample ads, the information is there, but they lied to get me there and that was frustrating and upsetting.

In addition, what they don't tell you is that if the person returns the product clickbank, refunds the money to them and then takes it out of your account. Now you have lost the $23.00 of earnings and you paid an $8.00 rebate which is gone. All and all I do not feel that this is not a good legitimate way to make money the Internet.

What Does RICH Mean To You

I came across this article and I thought you would enjoy it.

What Does RICH Mean To You?
by: Paul Mara

Have you ever been asked that question?

I was!

Back in 1979 while doing a “pressure cooker” course on selling with an insurance company!

I wondered how relevant that question was, considering my personal and financial situation at the time.

No wife!

No job!

I was a solo dad with three children, one of them a baby less than a year old.

“You must be kidding”, I thought to myself at the time!

What relevance can that have to me learning to sell insurance policies?

How naive I was!

The course that followed had an unbelievably positive and a life changing effect on me. Although it only took affect several years later. The seed had been sown!

You’re probably saying to yourself, “How can a course on selling life insurance have that much effect on anyone?”

Well that Insurance Company was the one created by W Clement Stone.

I found the course to be very challenging, because in New Zealand at that time we weren’t really aware of the “Hype” that Americans used to motivate their workers to perform at their optimum. It pleases me each time I think about it now, to know that I passed, top of the class and received a book as a reward, this book was already a best seller, but I’d never heard of it.

Success Through a Positive Mental Attitude, of which W Clement Stone was co-author with Napoleon Hill. They shared their secrets on becoming wealthy and having a healthy, productive lifestyle, utilising the power of a "positive mental attitude". Sadly my motivation and my persistence waned and I stopped selling insurance.

I kept all the information, studies and the book I had won.

The “BOOK” Success Through a Positive Mental Attitude, which I never opened or read for probably 3 years.

However I did continue two very positive things! I continued to read on a daily basis some of his quotes and I even put them on the wall. My two

favourites were;

“Success is achieved and maintained by those who try and keep trying” and

“Whatever the mind of man can conceive and believe, it can achieve”.

The second thing and the one which I believed the most important was “Goal Setting” I enjoyed the challenge and had learned enough during the course to

realise its long term value.

Life began to take several steps in the right direction not major ones, but positive ones.

Several important things happened in my life over the next 12 years.

Around 1981-2 I began reading, Through a Positive Mental Attitude,

I applied so many of their ideas and formulae, and by 1992 mine and my families life had completely turned around, this included a wonderful wife and two more children and a list of goals I had made in 1986 after father passed away, became a reality.

I had arrived finally, or so I thought, and was ready to respond to the question that still continued to bother me after all those years.

What Does RICH Mean To You?

I had some answers!

That’s what I believed anyway!

1 - " A consistent income created from hard work

2 - " A healthy family

3 - " A loving wife and loving children

4 - "A nice car

5 - " A great holidays

There are other things, but they are either directly or indirectly related to the above list.

Even now when I look at that list it seems to have “hit the nail on the head”.

Then within three years it all slowly began to fall apart, business wise, thankfully not family wise our “Polynesian Inheritance” is so strong, family always come first!

Where was I going wrong?

What was I doing wrong?

Whose fault was it?

Why now when we seemed so successful?

A myriad of questions passed through my mind, I began to blame myself, I was making wrong decisions.

I had begun a downward slide a personal one that took away my mental fortitude, my belief, my self-confidence, I lost motivation, the thing that really hurts me when I think back is that, “I didn’t really care anymore” I began to think that the world owed me, I was a good person so for that I should be rewarded. What a “Pity party”, darn pitiful is all I can say now!

After all these years I am finally getting back on track!

I realise that age and the new generation means I can never be what I was back then, why?

Well that’s the past and I now live for today!

Not tomorrow!

I have found a “Certain Way” that has been available to each and every one of us for more than ninety years.

Probably what W Clement Stone and Napoleon Hill and thousands of others used to become rich, but forgot to tell us some very vital points, whether they did it consciously or just took it for granted that we would figure it out, I am really not to sure.

Want to find out as I have???

The real meaning of what “RICH” is, go to my website “Right Now” and find out how you to can have a “RICH” balanced and fulfilled life with “Prosperous Equilibrium”.

WAHWatchdog

I found a site that puts my little blog to shame. I thought I was doing a good job of trying programs and reporting on my findings or research. By WAHWatchdog has humbled me.

The site is WAHWatchdog and here is the basic information about them:

If you have every been scammed by a "work at home" company, purchased a "money making system" that didn't live up to its claims, or if you are having a hard time getting a refund from a merchant, you need to read the reviews on this site. Even if you found a great product or system that deserves to be recognized. WAH Watchdog wants all the juicy details.

Unlike other sites that are usually biased, their rankings are based solely on users' votes, and user reviews are authenticated and displayed unedited. WAHWatchdog.org is THE "work at home" product and "money making system" review site. Vote on things you've tried, share your feedback and post reviews, get help resolving disputes with merchants, and find out the REAL scoop about products or programs you may be interested in.

I really enjoyed looking over the scores of some of the programs that I have personally reviewed. It is a nice site, if you are looking to buy a work at home program, check it out on this site (as well as mine).

Holiday Tips - From Work at Home Jobs

There is no place like home for the holidays. And when hosting overnight guests, you want them to feel "at home" too. Feeling stressed as you prepare? No worries. I'd like to share some quick hints on how to make holiday visits more enjoyable for you and your guests.

Extend Specific Invitations. A visit is more comfortable when everyone knows arrival and departure times. Therefore make your invitation cordial yet clear. This helps you to prepare and to avoid that awkward moment of having to ask guests when they will be leaving.

Sent an Agenda: Find out your guests' interests and plan activities accordingly. Be flexible and don't overdo it. And, share your own schedule to help manage expectations about entertaining.

Plan Sleeping Arrangements: Assign sleeping quarters ahead of time. Then family members know what to expect, especially if they are being temporarily displaced. It also gives you time to prepare rooms and get any extra items like air mattresses, blankets, etc.

Add Special Touches: Set the tone for your guests' stay with "niceties." Things like a reading light, alarm clock, clothes hangers, an extra blanket, and personal toiletries in the bathroom all go a long way to making others feel welcomed.

Orient Your Guests: Show your house guests where to find things like extra towels or pillows. Familiarize them with light switch locations and operations of appliances like the coffeemaker and microwave.

Finally, just be yourself. Your guests will have a much better time when you are relaxed and having a good time. Remember, you can't and won't anticipate everything. So go with the flow!

I would like to take this opportunity to thank you for welcoming me into your home this year through my blog. It is my distinct honor to be your trusted source for learning about ways to earn money at home, and I sincerely wish you and your family a very Happy Holiday!

Google Money Tree Program - Its Free or Not

I received an e-mail telling me to try the Google Money Tree program for free all I had to do was pay for shipping and handling.

So I decided to walk through the Google Money Tree order form to see how they have their sales process set up.

Page 1 was the usual stuff - personal contact info but no credit card.
Page 2 - this is where the fun begins:

Right where you enter your credit card number GoogleMoneyTree puts:

Google Money Tree Kit: Free
Shipping & Handling: $3.88

Right to the left of the form where you enter your credit card GoogleMoneyTree has this bold proclamation:

"No Hassle Money Back "Guarantee! If you are not 100% satisfied with the kit, simply call our dedicated customer service #(located in the USA!), and we will immediately refund your shipping payment… no questions, no hassle!"

This sounds good to me, it made it sound like the only reason why you would ever really need to contact GoogleMoneyTree's customer service about billing would be to get your shipping payment refunded.

OK I have not seen the statements that I expected, so lets do the order and see what happens.

Well seven days after receiving my kit, which was basically the same information that I have received over and over again, nothing new here, under a different name. But here is the kicker, are you ready for it.

My credit card was charged $72.21 which was suppose to be a reoccurring monthly fee for my membership to the Google Money Tree program. That's right, if you don't call and ask for shipping money to back, that is it, reoccurring monthly fee.

Needless to say, I cancelled my card and disputed the charge, my bank hates me, I do this to them all the time. Know what you are getting into. You do not get anything for free and the Google Money Tree program is no different.

The Adele Scam (I am hurt, really I am)

I have to say, that this one really bugs me, they stole my name!

OK this month when you get your monthly credit card or debit card statements look for a small charge from a company that you don't recognize, make sure you check your PayPal account also. The charge will be for something between 9 and 19 cents, usually 12 cents. If you see this charge, report your card stolen. I know that this may seem like a small amount of money, but its not. On next months statement you will see a charge from CCBILLEU.COM for $200 to $400 and the fraudulent charges will just keep coming.

Apparently, the people behind this scam have a list of credit card numbers and Paypal accounts. In an effort to figure out which ones are valid and which ones are not, they make a small charge hoping it will go unseen. Then they go in for the big purchases and may even try and steal your identity.

If you are an online shopper, beware and watch your statements closely.

Get Google Ads for Free!

I feel something that I am buried with ads from people telling me I can all my advertising for my blog for free. Companies like GetGoogleAdFree.com, tell you they have the secret and they will tell you all about it if you pay them $97.00.

OK here is the truth and this took me some time and money to figure what this offer is all about. Free Ads basically means, start a web page and start charging other people to advertise on that page. Take the money you make from the advertising and put it in your Adwords account, now technically you are not paying for your ads other people are.

But lets put a different spin on it. If you were making money from other people advertising on your web site, why would you need adwords? Why not just keep the advertising money and stop.

Don't spend the money on these program, they are not worth the investment.

Quick Review: Ways to Earn Money Online or at Home

Since Christmas is right around the corner and the unemployment rate is raising, I noticed a lot of new visitor to my site and I would like to review an old topic, but it is important if you are looking to earn money from home:

The Most Popular Home Jobs are:

1. Running a home-based business (these would be programs that you have to purchase and that I review)
2. Computer work
3. Data entry
4. Word processing
5. Telephone research/sales
6. Customer services
7. Proof reader
8. Market research

If you are going to work from home you need good a reliable mobile, landline, fax, email and instant messaging program. That way if any one of these services fail you can still communicate.

Technology has made working from home a much more realistic option for many people. If you’re self-employed or starting your own business, working from home is also a good way of reducing your overheads. It becomes more difficult if you are trying to break into the work from home job market as people tend to guard their positions fiercely once they have them. There are always plenty of advertisements, both on and off the Internet, for people to work from home but the majority of these are scams.

Generally, if the company you are applying to requests money (and you are applying as a employee and not business owner, beware! Top Three Homeworking Scams to Avoid

1. You send off your registration fee to receive details about earning a good income from homeworking. You receive a letter instructing you to put an advert in your local shop or paper, asking people to send you a registration fee! A similar online version of this are e-books which promise to reveal the secret of 'how to get rich quick' - the 'secret' then turns out to be instructions on how to resell copies of the e-book you've purchased!

2. You answer an advertisement for a position, such as a freelance proofreader. With the application is a piece of text for you to correct any mistakes. On submitting you will be then be sent an Information Pack, which you are charged for and then you find out the information is ready available on the Internet for free.

3. You apply for a position doing simple assembly work at home, such as: greeting cards, toys or crafts, and are asked to pay up-front for materials. The materials will be worth much less than you've paid, and often the assembly work you complete will be rejected and returned to you as 'sub-standard' and of course you will receive no payments.

There are, plenty of valid jobs you can do from home, you just need to be careful when first starting out. Working from home can bring huge benefits, allowing you to balance your family and work time, work more productively and reduce day to day stresses.
