Not all work at home programs require you to make an investment before giving you a job. Work at home can include handing out samples, or get paid to Read E-mails, or get Paid to blog. The next couple of posts on this forum will be free programs that you can use to make money at home or Work at Home. The following companies will pay you to demonstrate products, take customer surveys, collect data, and set up merchandise displays. I suggest that you sign up for as many as possible. Once you get established you can pick and choose which assignments to take.
A good place to start would be with The National Retail Merchandise Association. They have a searchable job bank.
