Easy Google Income

So Easy Google Income, I saw an ad for them on Career builder, the CD is FREE, yes I said free. Wow I can work at home for free, further research is necessary I think.

Here is the deal, you only pay $1.99 for shipping and handling. What they don't tell you is that it is FREE to try the product for 7 days. After that, whatever method you used to pay for shipping and handling is then charged $39.95, so if you used your PayPal account it will be hit for the additional fee after 7 day, unless you cancel an return the CD.

Here is the real kicker, you can cancel at any time and not get charged, but even though the product was ordered online, you can't cancel it online. You have to call the UK to cancel and they have to pick up the phone, which apparently never happens.

Be aware and stay away, earning money online is possible, but read the fine print and research a product before sending anybody money.

Adsense Empire E-Book

On June 5th, I paid $5.95 to purchase a copy of the Adsense Empire E-Book. I don't normal buy a product without researching it first, however it was only $5.95 and that included reseller rights, what could possibily go wrong......

The answer is, I sent the money via paypal and never received the book. I sent three e-mails to the seller and I have not received a single response. At this point I am disputing the purchase with PayPal and hopefully I will get my money back.

I guess I should have followed my own advise and done my research first to see if anybody else had similar issues.

First rule to trying to work at home is research research research. I know that it is only $5.95 but it is the point of the matter. Don't offer me a product if you are not going to deliver.

TheRichKids Program

I am sorry to say that I am a little disappointed after trying the TheRichKids program. It is basically a guide on how to advertise your affiliate programs. It does not explain how to choose a product or what to look for or even how to be successful.

The biggest problem I found with the program is you need unneeded cash, in other words cash that you can lose and still be able to pay the bills. This is not for people who are desperate for money.

They have 6 affordable advertising steps that you can follow to start earning money. Honestly, I only tried two, I decided that it was not worth investing any more money into the program since I failed at the first step. I followed the direction to the letter and I only earned $7.50. So far I spent $14.99 on the program and $27.00 in advertising and I made $7.50. To make things worse they are hold my money until I make at least three sales so unless I spend more money on advertising, I wont even get the $7.50 that I already earned.

I would like to say that their guides are easy to follow. If you are new to affiliate marketing and want easy to follow direction on how to promote your links, it is not a bad product as a stepping stone. However, I don’t consider a complete guide because you still have to guess as to the product you are going to promote. The money that you made is entirely up to you, you just need to pick a good product to promote and it should do well, which is easier said than done. If you pick the wrong product to promote like me, you're not going to make money and instead probably lose money. You'll need to do some market research on your own or pay for a product that tells you what is hot to sell if there is something like that out there I have not found it.

Blog Pinging

If you are a blogger, I am sure that you are constantly hearing about pinging your blog. But do you know what it is or how it works?

What is blog pinging? Blog pinging tells people when new content has been added to your blog. It is an incredibly useful, and easy to sign up for service, so be sure to sign your blog up for as many pinging services as your find.

How does pinging work? A ping service scans regularly blogs for updates. Whenever there is a new content for a particular blog. Unlike search engine spiders that report back both content and updated content, a ping service only reports back new blog posts.

Why is pinging useful for my blog? Basically it tells people that there is something new to read on your blog. After your blog has been running for a couple weeks you should notice that you have loyal readers and by pinging your blog your are informing those readers that your site has new content. Pinging helps to increase your traffic and if you are a blogger traffic is everything.

So now the important question:

Who offers pinging?

There are several pinging services available which you can use to ping your blog.

Weblogs.com

Weblogs.com is probably the most popular pinging service. It monitors sites for updates and then pings whenever there is an update to report.

Yahoo’s Blogs

This one is offered by Yahoo it offers the ability to send out updates using Instant Messenger services like AOL and ICQ. It is a direct pinging service, so those who sign up for your blog will be sent an email anytime your blog is updated.

Blogrolling.com

Blogrolling allows its bloggers to manage their blogrolls (updates) through a web-based interface. Updated blogs are highlighted on Blogrolling’s web site.

There are many different blog pinging services available. If you do a quick search Google you will find all the possible blog pinging service sites. Again sign up for as money as possible to drive traffic to your blog.

How to...Take Surveys and Get PAID

The first thing to remember about taking surveys at home is that you are taking the survey to to make a product or service better and not to provide a full-time income. Give honest and sincere answers and don't rush though and just click anything to make it end. I know that myself personally, I look my focus on the survey if it is over 15 minutes and I just want it to be over. Therefore when I get an invitation, I check the length of the survey and then decided whether I want to participate.

Taking a money survey online is something that should be available to everyone. Marketing companies want people to be honest and give an opinion about a product or service that the survey taker enjoys or dislikes. For companies, top surveys are useful as market research and helps them get in touch with new areas of the markets.

People often wonder where they can find the top surveys to take online. Many survey sites work as networks to provide people with links to the top surveys. These sites point in the direction of the top surveys that offer the survey taker some money or prizes, too. The top surveys are usually the ones that offer something in return for the pointing and clicking the survey taker carries out. You can earn extra cash with these programs just be careful before you give out your personal information.

NetWinner Update

A couple of months ago I wrote an article on Netwinner and advise everyone that they are a legitimate site and they do pay. I stand by the review because I have been paid by them in the past, however, last months payment has not been processed so I sent them an e-mail and this is the response I got:

Adele,

Thank you for the time you have taken to play the games and to contact me with your concerns. We are sorry but at this time we are unable to redeem points for cash. This has been done in order to cut back on the large amounts of fraud and liability we have been facing. We are very sorry but we would like to apologize by returning double the points you used in making your transaction.

We hope to be able to reinstate these cards at a later time but as of right now we are no longer able to do so. We are still fulfilling all instant win and raffle prizes. However, due to major changes it will still take us a couple of weeks to fulfill these. You will receive an email soon explaining how to redeem your prize. We do realize it is unfair for those players who abided by our Terms of Service to not receive the winnings that they played for. However, because we weren’t prepared for such increased fulfillment and fraud that occurred so quickly when we added partners, we were not prepared with the proper fraud tools and the lines between honest and fraudulent players is hard to decipher.

Regards,
Customer Support,
Netwinner

I stand by Newinner as a legitimate company and I will keep everyone informed of the status of their payout policy.

Managing Money Matters

Managing Money Matters
By Sarah Scrafford is an industry critic, as well as a regular contributor on the subject of entrepreneurial finance. She invites your questions, comments and freelancing job inquiries at her email address: sarah.scrafford25@gmail.com

Making money is hard work, but making the money you have work wonders for you is easy if you know how. Read on to see how you can manage your money more efficiently to maximize your earnings even though you don’t earn a dollar more:

  • Work out your average monthly income and expenditure, both fixed and varying and plan a budget. Include uncertain expenses while omitting uncertain income; this way, you’re prepared for unexpected emergencies and any extra income that comes in goes directly to your savings for a rainy day.
  • Write down all your expenses, even the most trivial ones. You may think that the $2 you spend on a cup of coffee is not worth listing, but it adds up to a significant amount when you stop at the coffee shop every day. A list helps you take stock at the end of each month and figure out which expenses to cut down on.
  • Spend money, but only on the things that help you perform more efficiently at work or products that help you move forward in your goals. If a new computer or an extra employee will simplify things at work, by all means, go ahead and buy or hire as needed. If your work necessitates a lot of travel, buy a more expensive car that will save you money on gas in the long run because of its good mileage. If you need to look sharp in all your dealings, spend money on your clothes and grooming. This money you’re spending is just an investment that will help you earn the big bucks.
  • Instead of running up huge bills on your credit card, take out personal loans or use the equity on your home to tide you over in times of emergency. While both are borrowings, latter come at a much lower interest rate that will help you pay back the loans without feeling too much of a pinch.
  • Instead of paying all your bills at one go, plan your payments according to their due dates. Paying a couple of days just before your bills are due will maximize your money. At the same time, you should take care to include postal holidays or weekends to the time your check takes to reach your creditor. You don’t want to be penalized for a late payment simply because you wanted to wait till the last minute to pay.
  • Shop around before you apply for credit cards – be careful about hidden fees and clauses written in the fine print that charge you for just about anything.
  • Don’t accumulate balances on your credit cards. Pay off the entire amount every month so that you’re not faced with the burden of paying the high interest and the principal. Remember, the higher your balance, the more interest you accrue. So every penny you pay off each month helps in bringing down the amounts you have pay in later months.
  • Sometimes, renting out a home or office is better than buying one even if the former is the more costly option, especially if you’re on the move every year or so. Compare the costs in money, time and effort involved in buying and selling property regularly and in renting before you make your decision.
  • Do not take cash advances on your credit card – they’re the worst in terms of interest charged.
  • If your job permits, try working out of home to save on conveyance and rent.
  • Any money that you manage to save, invest wisely in bonds or stocks that provide a reasonable return without too much of a risk.
  • Make sure you don’t fall prey to identity thieves and online hackers. Keep your personal information confidential and check your bills and accounts regularly for discrepancies. Report any anomaly immediately so that no further misuse is possible.
  • Make do with a landline (or VoIP connection) instead of spending money on cell phones.
  • Do not lend anyone money, but if you do, ensure that you’re paid back.
