Affiliate Marketing

Affiliate marketing is where I found my home with internet ventures. There's a little bit of a learning curve, but once you get over that, it's a very simple process.

Basically, affiliate marketing is the process of selling other people's products and earning a commission in return for whatever you sell. Why sell other people's products? By doing so, you never have to have anything of your own to sell, you don't have to hold any inventory, and you don't have to talk to any prospective customers. Instead, the company does all that for you. Companies will pay people very large commissions for selling their products.

Where can you find products to sell for commissions? There are "affiliate directories" that compile lists of companies ready to offer commissions for whatever you are able to sell. My favorite of these - and the one that programs like Ultimate Wealth Package will teach you to use - is known as Clickbank, and it only sells digital products, or products that you can download.

This is beneficial because they are inexpensive to produce, so they offer their affiliates very large commissions. You can earn up to a 75% commission for marketing these type of products.

The process works like this, when you sign up to promote certain products, you receive a unique link that has a tracking code in it. This code is unique to your account, and it will track it and when any sales are made from your unique affiliate link. You simply drive traffic to that affiliate link, and any sales that result are transferred immediately into your account.

With some knowledge of how affiliate marketing works, you'll really get a feel for what that program, or any "make money online" program, is about. You see a lot of these programs out there, and their main strategy to make money online is affiliate marketing. With a basic knowledge of how it works, you really get a much better idea as to what these make money programs are all about.
