Rebate Processing at Home

It sounds like a great deal doesn't it, you can process rebates at home and earn $15.00 for each one that you complete. I thought it sounded good. I searched the internet, I didn't see anything negative and I invested! Then I found out what rebate processing really means.

Rebate processing is Affiliate work. Companies like virtual-training-solutions.com, RebateProcessorJobs.com and rebateproccessingjob.com, are not hiring you to work for them and then paying you by the piece. Which is what I though when I first read their websites (by the way all three companies owned by the same person).

Let me save you the $39 - $89 it takes to join these programs. Sign up for a Clickbank account, find a product that you want to sell. Place an ad to sell the product and in that ad, state that you will give them a rebate of $8.00 just for purchasing the product. Now you will receive $23.00 for selling the product, you return $8.00 to the original purchaser and you keep $15. You just received $15.00 for processing a rebate!

There do you feel that information is worth $39? I don’t, I felt and still feel that I was mislead and scammed. Can the system work, yeah it is a good idea, I understand where they were trying to go with it and if they had described it just as I described it to you and not lied to me, I would have felt better about the whole thing. Their members web site is pretty good, it will give you a list of site to post free ads to sell your item and sample ads, the information is there, but they lied to get me there and that was frustrating and upsetting and honestly other than writing this blog I have done nothing with my account.

Thanks for writing this. I've been job hunting and have come across a lot these types of ads and think to myself that it sounds to good to be true without some sort of hitch but can never be sure. . . until now. Thanks again.

OMG... all I want to do is buy a Harley... even my wife wants me to have one. The only way I can afford one is to find something to do online that will earn me a little cash so I can save for one. With scams everywhere, I am finding that this is way more difficult to achieve than I thought. Thanks for saving me $39. You are awesome. Did you ever find anything out there that can help me?
If so, let me know. haus@myself.com

You Rock - what you are doing is wonderful.

Please remain ethical, I can see some company paying you a pretty penny once you gain a high level of trust with people.

I will stay ethical, there is no reason for me to help people steal your or anybody elses money. I really feel that programs that are not telling the full truth in their advertising are stealing peoples money.

And right below your review is a Google ad:

Work From Home Processing Rebates 10 a day @ $15 each= $1050 per week
www.RebateProcessorJobs.com

Should I belive you or not...

Google advertises on my site, I do not have control of what they advertise, they rent the space and can use it however they want (which is why is says Ads by Google under it). My review is my opinion of the program and just the straight facts as I see them. It is your choice whether you try the program or not.

If people would just take a little time to look into things before spending money, then these scammers would dry up quickly and go away... well I guess that is just wishful thinking they would just register a new domain and pretend to be some new company with the "answer".
I have found that it is best to work with a team and find the right thing for your situation and personality. If you are looking for a job never ever pay up front. If you are looking for a business opportunity there may be some educational expenses, but put in the persons name and "scam" into the google search and see what comes up... I did that with my name Rick Dearr and got nothing related to me... most likely 'cause I don't scam.
Then I tried it without the scam part and found over 1000 entries (not all really me but lots) so guess that feels pretty good. There are links to stuff I did as a video game producer years ago and mentions my partner made in his blog all kinds of stuff I did not even think I might find.
If you want something legit, check out http://workathomegold.biz There are coaches that teach in different areas and real guarantees. And the info you sign up for you get FREE, imagine that. If I can help just let me know.
This is a great blog and really tells it like it is, I hope Bytemi approves this post so my team can help more people.

Bravo! Its nice to see someone who shares my online ethics!
Making money online is more than possible, but its scams like this that put people off! I get tired of reading "reviews" with an affiliate link - they just want my sign up bonus! I pass on a lot of recommendations to newbies, but only sites that have actually made me $ - I wish others would do the same.

Thanks again for a great article!

Thanks so much for saving me the $39. It is hard enough to make it without some "stealing" your hard earned money. I just want to make some extra money to pay a few bills. I guess I will put the $39 toward one of those instead.

I am reviewing a new program right now called Profit Lance here is the link to another review site for it:

http://bytemi.thebestbizreview.com/

I have been impressed so far with it, it is a course with videos and simple tasks that you complete to get started, so far I am very happy with it. My full review should be out shortly.

I noticed that you have an online store is that worth the effort?
I have a blog
save-a-dime.blogspot.com
come by some time. I would like to add your site to my useful links if its okay with you.
Have you found anything to do from home that really works?
Keep up the good work
thanks for all your efforts

Hi Casey,

No I don't think my own online store was worth the effort, it is still out there I don't devote the time I should to it.

I would love it if you listed my site in your useful links section, thank you.

Honestly, I can't tell you if I found something that I really works because everyone is different, it all depends on how much time and effort you are willing to put into it. There are some good programs for beginners out there, snoop around the site and me know if you have any questions.

Hey Bytemi,
Not sure if you are aware of this but I'm pretty sure you can "filter" out many of the advertisers that you don't want advertising on your site. Check the setup and see if you can find the "filter" section. IF you are able to, it might take a week or so before the changes are effective. I too was considering this "scam"... Thanks for the post!
