JRA conducts web surveys, telephone surveys, and in-home product testing. Their clients are national and international manufacturers, retailers, and service providers who want to hear your opinions about their products.
One of the best parts of JRA is that occasionally JRA conducts research with children as young as 6 years old. Basically they would contact you, the parent, to see if it is something that you would like your child to have an opportunity to do. If you agree, you child can then participate in the study and give their opinions too.
Compensation is usually a monetary gift which can range from $2 to $100 or more. Compensation rates are based on the type of survey you are participating in, the complexity of the survey itself, and the amount of time you are required to commit to. Sometimes, compensation is in the form of a drawing, a sample product, or a donation to a charity of choice.
