Wine Huggers - Assembling Products at Home

Well I have to say, I am impressed. I got my review of my wine huggers, the only negative comments I received was that the loops were not round. Guess I need to work on that. But they did buy them at $2.00 a piece.

They have authorized me to continue working and submitting wine huggers for payment. They also enclosed a tax form which makes them seem more legitimate to me.

I think that I have to say, that yes they are real and they will pay and are worth the money for registration. I can make the money back in 1 week submitting 25 wine huggers and after I complete my 4th unit, they refund the initial fee. They also allow for $3.50 per shipment for postage and handling so you are not paying for that yourself.

The web site is http://www.wine-keepers.com/. If you are interested.

By the way, in the poll. The first one is different. They sent me different beads than the sample for mine, so the spacers and colors are different. :D

I am really excited that this worked. Sort gave me a little more faith that there really is legitimate work at home opportunities out there.

I read another review of wine keepers and it says after the starter kit you have to purchase all supplies yourself. Have you had to do this and how easy are the supplies to get and how much do they cost?
Also wondering if you know anything about GeoCycler?
I will check back here for your answers if you come up with anything.

Yes, I had to buy the materials after the start kit. You can buy the items at any craft store. I purchased about $10 in supplies and I have made 20 so far and still going.

I will have to do some research on GeoCycler, I will post with more information when I have it.

Thank you for such a quick response! I also sent an email because I wasn't sure this worked so sorry for the duplicate. Thanks again!

I'm interested in this opportunity. About how much do you make per unit? Also, do you buy the supplies from them, or do you buy them locally?
Thanks for a great blog!

You make $2.00 per unit and you have to buy all of the supplies locally.

Sorry, I just wanted to clarify- they pay $2.00 each, right? Do you have any idea yet what your profit is per unit? And how long it takes you to make each one?

The first one took me about 2 hours, learning curve. Since then I have figured out an assembly line and I can complete about 6 and hour. Not bad in all. I spend about $6 in supplies so I would guess that I am making about 1.50 a unit in profit.

$9.00 an hour is not too bad considering that you don't have to pay child care.

I have signed up to make these. I can't seem to find the beads anywhere. Where do you get yours? Do you find the exact ones that they first sent you?
Thanks

I found the beads at Michaels. No they do not have to be exactly the same. They have to be the same size, shape and color, but they don't have to be exact. Just find something close.

I hope you first report comes back with good feedback.

I have just signed up to make these but was told I was limited to 25 per week, with that number going up in "about a month", she thinks. How many do you assemble in a week and are they pretty prompt with their payments?

Hello, I was at Michaels and the prices for the supplies are pretty high. I don't think you could make a good profit doing this. I ordered my kit with sample a month ago but didn't start assembling the first trial batch until recently. I'm going to send in the first 5 wraps for the evaluation. I knew that the evaluation would be pretty strict about the loops having to be round so I bought some extra wire to practice with. To my shock the wire was $3 and is only enough for maybe 5 wraps. Now add the beads and you're looking at maybe $7 more. That's $10 in supplies for 5 wraps. They pay you $10 for 5 so you break even. In other words you work for free even after you get paid.

Please share your experience bytemi since you've been doing this for a while now. How are you making a profit?

You know.. when I have ordered my first kit I didn't realize that I'll have to pay for the supplies :( Wanted to start too fast prbably :( The only way to get some profit is to look for cheaper supplies. I am going to look for them in Ebay or some other craft stores.
I completed my first wine-keeper, but it took a lot time to complete because I haven't ordered a sample. I thought instructions will be clear enough to make them. But I was wrong. I had to send them e-mail request for some details and explanations. Have to say that instructions are misleading, letting you think that it is easier than it acctualy is. But still I am going to send my first 5 wine keepers to see if they are going to be approved.

Anyone out there who is interested in WINE KEEPER'S...KEEP AWAY!!! They are FRAUDS!!! I sent them $58.00 for their starter kit, plus a sample of their wine wrap, back in MARCH!!! I received it, made the wraps w/ the beads they sent on April 9 (of this year.)Which, I find out later on, that I'm resposible for buying my own supplies and THEY ARE NOT easy to find, And anyone that tells you so are LYING!! I sent it confirmation mail, so I KNOW they recieved it on the 13th!! I'm STILL waiting for their evaluation, by the way!! I called them, after waiting 3 weeks of this confirmation, giving them time to look at it. When I called, at first she tried to say that she didn't have my package, but then, when I called her out on the confirmation...miraculously, she had it, but hadn't looked at it, yet!! Like, I said...I'm STILL waiting!! I'm calling her today and DEMANDING A REFUND!! If she refuses...she's GOING DOWN!! I plan to report this so-called business anyway, even if I do get a refund. I don't think it's fair or right to play on people like you and me, who are honestly trying to find legitimate home work!!...LIT UP!!

I am so sorry that you are having these issues. I did not have any problems at all and that is what I reported.

As for the supplies, I purchased my beads at the Joanne Fabrics and Michaels, they were not identicial but the only thing that matters is the color, so I went with it.

I produced two units for them and got paid for each one. I don't know if their attitude towards the business has changed and I am sorry that you having so many problems.

Hi-

Thank you for the helpful information. Have you heard anything good about making bookmarks through www.craftmakingfun.com?

Many thanks-

I do not have personal experience with www.craftmakingfun.com, but I will be happy to order the starter kit and let you know if they are legit.
